What real-time should mean operationally

For active scanning, “real time” is not only a data label. The useful questions are: how often is the candidate set refreshed, can a condition trigger an immediate event alert, and how quickly can the trader move from alert to context? A 10-second screener refresh and an event stream can produce very different workflows.

Evaluation test

Define one setup and record the exact decision window. Then compare tools on: refresh/alert behavior, relevant filters, saved scan management, false-alert load, chart/news context, and validation. “Real-time” should solve a timing problem you can describe.
